Foods that Boost or Bust a Man’s Virility

You may be quite wild and carefree all your life but at some point, you may have to stop and think about building a family of your own.
Women certainly have things that they can do to help their fertility, but men should also think about improving their overall health as well.

Men are especially susceptible to sexual dysfunctions such as premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction. In fact, you may have suffered from any of these conditions without you really knowing about it.

Well, the said conditions are actually quite common and it can certainly affect any man that does not get a hold of their health.

That is why aside from relying on libido boosters for improved virility, you must also think about eating men’s health multivitamin as well.

Today, I am going to highlight some of the foods that you should incorporate into your diet, stat!

Fruits and Vegetables

I think this should come as no surprise that you must fill your plate with mostly fruits and vegetables. These foods contain a lot of nutrients, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other goodies that are generally good for one’s body (especially for a man). All of those things can be had by eating copious amounts of fruits and vegetables and the good thing is that even if you are eating a lot of them, you need not worry about getting fat at all.

Anyway, when we are talking about portion sizes, it is a generally good idea to be filling half of your plate with fruits and veggies. Ideally, you want to have a colorful plate that is filled with different kinds of them to ensure that you are getting the full spectrum of nutrients that your body needs.

Some of the foods that you may want to include in your diet are carrots, squash, kale, broccoli, strawberries, blueberries, apple, watermelon, lemon, ginger, garlic, onions, etc.

Fish

You should be supplying your body with all of the macronutrients out there. I am talking about carbs, protein, and fat. That being said, if you are going to feed your body with some protein, you’d want to focus on lean sources.

Although they are considered as ‘fatty’ fish, the protein that is found in salmon and tuna are generally lean and good for the body. Aside from protein, there is one thing that you also want to get from fish and that is Omega-3.

Omega-3 fatty acids provide one with a lot of health benefits, including an improved heart. Men who suffer from erectile dysfunction may not have the best performing hearts so eating fatty fish just makes sense if one were to improve its health overall.

Soy

Sad to say, soy is a fertility buster. Sure, they can be a good source of plant-based protein and it certainly provides your body with some nutrients. However, a study released in the Journal of Molecular and Cellular Endocrinology revealed that consuming edamame (a fancy name for soy) could lead to 25-30% lower sperm production in male mice.

Although studies would have to be conducted in men just to make sure that it does have similar effects on humans, it is generally not a good idea to be consuming soy if you want to improve your sex drive.
